At some point in 2005 I started to become interested in DECT security, and started by reading the various available public documentation. One thing I found particularly worth noting is a quote from the DECT security spec: Privacy in residential applications is a desirable marketing option. (ETSI EN 300 175-7 Ch. A6). In fact, I found it so important that I made it my default e-mail signature for the last four years.
